Tuesday’s Tips, Tricks and Tools - Joel Comm Skrewed Up! - How to cancel…
In last week’s newsletter I talked about building online income using Google’s Adsense program and recommended Joel Comm’s new release of his Adsense Secrets. What wasn’t clear was that people who bought Joel’s book were also signed up for his $29 per month newsletter. This wasn’t made chrystal clear on the order page and so I feel I need to let you know especially if you did buy his book.
While negative option sign ups aren’t illegal, they are deceptive and tend to make people mad. Joel certainly has heard an earful as this situation has come to light. In response he has posted an apology. His new sales page is clear about the newsletter and even offers an option not to get it.
However, if you’ve already ordered the book, and you don’t want the newsletter, you’ll need to cancel your subscription.

I still believe in Joel’s information as it helped me increase my income from Adsense over 16 fold. However, I don’t like the use of deceptive practises in making money and so I felt you needed to be made aware of this situation.

Money Making Monday -
In 2006 I added Google AdSense ad feed to my site and made a few bucks. Not much, but something is better than nothing. Then I started hearing about people who were making several hundreds of dollars a day through the program. Wow! I had to find out how to do that so I went to the expert, Joel Comm.
Joel’s tips were easy to understand and impliment and in 2007 my Adsense income grew over 16 times than what it was in 2006. In fact, in 2007 nearly a third of my yearly income came from Adsense. In one year!
While Google is tight lipped about the forumla it uses to calculate Adsense earnings, basically website/blog publishers get paid when someone clicks on an Adsense link. Its probably just a few cents which seems hardly worth it. But the reality is that people are making good even obscene amounts of money through this program. And since its free to sign up and since you can design a web presence for free as well (see the marketing section for how to do this), its a great way for a beginner to get online and start making money with only time as an investment.
With that said, you’re not going to be raking in the big bucks tomorrow. There is a method to the madness that includes offering quality content people want to read, keywords that people are searching on, and basic internet marketing (see marketing section for details on how to do this).
Another big help is to get Joel’s book which provides his tips and tricks that earn him $500 a day at Adsense. Joel just updated his Adsense Secrets for 2008 AND he slashed the price 90% to only $9.95.
Its not very often that I’m adement about products or services. But for anyone who’s serious about making money online, I absolutely think you should get Joel’s Adsense Secrets resource.
